Shellfish Licenses
Resident Licenses Fee: $151
Non-Resident Fee: $301
Non-resident shellfish licenses will be drawn on April 3rd at the Selectmen’s Meeting at 4:00 PM, held at the Milbridge Public Library. If you completed conservation work last spring or last fall but did not receive a license because your name was too far down the lottery list, you are not required to complete conservation this year. However, you must still participate in this year’s license lottery drawing in order to remain exempt from this year’s conservation requirement.
Shellfish Conservation
To meet the conservation requirements for the Town of Milbridge Commercial Shellfish License, diggers must participate in two conservation activities during the 2026 season, unless they are over the age of 65 or under the age of 16. Participation helps support the health and sustainability of Milbridge’s shellfish flats.
